Olivas Engineering & Technology is a Brazilian power systems engineering company headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. It is dedicated to the development of Olivas Power System Studio — a platform for industrial electrical studies for the Power System (SEP) and for protection, control and supervision systems (SPCS).

Born in academia, it blends scientific rigor with the practice of mission-critical plants — delivering traceable studies, auditable reports and solutions that protect assets and lives.

Electrical engineer and Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering (UFMG). Creator and lead developer of the Olivas PSS platform. Works on industrial electrical studies — short-circuit, coordination and arc-flash — and applied research in electromagnetic transients (ATP/EMTP), power electronics, digital twins and optimization.

Full Professor at UFMG's Department of Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. Worked on power-electronics converter development at ABB (Switzerland) and completed a postdoc on microgrids at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Researches static converters, digital control, power quality and microgrids.
