What you'll do

  • Lead electrical studies: short-circuit, power flow, coordination and selectivity, arc-flash and grounding grid
  • Model electromagnetic transients (energization, switching, surges, motor starting) in ATP/EMTP
  • Assess power quality (harmonics, resonance) and propose filters
  • Issue reports and design memos with ART, taking technical responsibility for the studies
  • Act as a technical reference, review deliverables and mentor the team

What we're looking for

  • Electrical Engineering degree; a graduate degree / master's / PhD in Power Systems is a plus
  • Active CREA registration and the ability to issue ART
  • 8+ years in industrial electrical studies / power systems
  • Command of study software (SKM PTW, ETAP, PowerFactory, ATP/EMTP)
  • Technical English (IEC/IEEE standards and international clients)

What you'll do

  • Configure, test and commission IEDs and protection schemes for substations and power plants
  • Set up RTUs and real-time automation controllers (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus)
  • Analyze fault records and fault events to diagnose failures in the electrical system
  • Specify automation architecture — DCS, PLC, HMI and safety instrumented systems (SIS)
  • Lead regulatory compliance (NR-10 / NR-12) and panel retrofits

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Electrical / Automation Engineering and CREA registration
  • Minimum 5 years in protection, control and automation of substations/power plants
